Logic Pro X 10.4.1
Hi All,
Brand new here. Anyhow, I'm on the latest version of Logic Pro X 10.4.0 and need some help with Flex Time. I'm am trying to lay a piano track that was recorded live without a click into a new recording of the same song that was recorded to Logic's click at 150bpm. The piano track is close in tempo and starts off pretty in time, but it starts to drift, then end up off by a few bars.
I am trying to use Flex Time and the quantize function to align it with the grid but it's not working that well. Logic moves (a lot of) notes to where they don't belong. 've tried breaking up the track into smaller regions but that isn't giving me what I want. I even tried manually moving individual Flex markers but I would need to do this for all 5 minutes of the song and I'd be better off re-recording it but don't want to.
Anyway, anyone have any power tips I can use on this? Thanks!
